Club Rules
Ensure an inclusive, safe and respectful environment for everyone. Display our values of “Respect, Good Sportsmanship & Enjoyment” at all times.
Our members include players, parents and legal guardians, team officials (coaches and managers) and elected officials.
All members and guests are subject to the conditions of Basketball NSW in addition to the club rules.
Member Conduct
All members should:
- Uphold the club values of Respect, Good Sportsmanship & Enjoyment and act with integrity.
- Encourage players to do their best and be proud of their contribution.
- Respect team mates and the opposition during and after games.
- Be respectful to referees and other officials.
- Respect venue rules, facilities and equipment.
Unacceptable Conduct
Breaches of BNSW Code of Conduct or Club Rules may result in a report or disciplinary action. Unacceptable behaviour includes but is not limited to:
- Abuse of players, referees, club officials or others persons.
- Threats or agressive behaviour towards any person.
- Use of inappropriate language, rude gestures or remarks which are perceived as offensive.
- Deliberate damage to property or equipment.
Parents & Legal Guardians
Parents and legal guardians are required to:
- Complete membership forms.
- Stay up to date with information by accessing the club communication systems.
- Contribute by performing bench duty as required.
- Assist with fund raising duties.
- Make payments for game fees and club costs on time.
- Collect players from the stadium on time.
